Plastic Clean-Up Day with Plastic Free Venice Lagoon

Dates

Admission fee
Free of charge

Following the success of the last June World Oceans Day clean-up event, Ocean Space returns to collaborate with Plastic Free Venice Lagoon and other associations for another, larger collection of plastic in Venice and its neighboring islands. From 09:30 Ocean Space and Campo San Lorenzo will be a meeting point for participants, where nets and gloves will be distributed to participate in the urban collection of plastic.

At the end of the day, at 17:00, a Contemporary Archaeology educational workshop will take place to reflect on what our generation will leave to future scholar, and not only, as trace of its passage. Then, a party in Campo San Lorenzo will follow to celebrate the largest voluntary collection of plastic ever organized in Venice.

We are waiting for you more than ever!
