Tactile tours

As part of the 2023 exhibition program "Thus waves come in pairs" curated by Barbara Casavecchia, the Ocean Space Education Department is organizing four events to discover the exhibitions through touch. Thanks to collaboration with the artists, some of the sculptures on display can be enjoyed through tactile exploration.

Tactile guided tours represent a moment of understanding and connection with the works of art (and more). This is important for everyone and fundamental for blind and visually impaired people. Visitors, upon reservation, will be guided in the construction of a mental image and helped to appreciate the works’ aesthetics.

Participation is free with reservations required, please send an email to education@ocean-space.org.
