On the occasion of Art Night 2019, Ocean Space will light up with an extraordinary evening of guided tours through our current exhibitions and the history of San Lorenzo until 22:00. Visitors will have the opportunity to immerse themselves in the ongoing exhibition Moving Off The Land II by artist Joan Jonas. The exhibition focuses on the role the oceans have played within culture throughout history as a totemic, spiritual, and ecological touchstone. In the cloister of the church, you can experience the sound installation The So(ng)qe /Tovuto Kyrrahafið Sound Field. Conceived by newly formed duo Dark Morph (Jónsi, lead singer of Sigur Rós, and Carl Michael von Hausswolff), the installation interweaves oceanic waves and sounds of maritime creatures.
Guided tours will be held at 19:30, 20:30 and 21:30 in Italian and English
