The meeting, the third of a series of training workshops, is address at teachers of all levels.

Nobel Prize in Chemistry winner Paul Crutzen popularised the term 'Anthropocene', which defines the current geological era where human activity is the dominant influence on the physical, chemical and biological characteristics of the earth's environment.

This meeting is a collaboration with the Digital Library and Special Materials sector of the Biblioteca Nazionale Marciana and an expert in the field of geography. It will focus on a discussion of the maps of past and present to illustrate the significant changes and anthropic developments throughout this era.
