The fishbowl discussion will be held in English

To mark Earth Day on Thursday April 22, TBA21–Academy and Ocean Space are excited to be hosting a live-streamed “fishbowl discussion” from 3pm to 5pm via Ocean Archive and their respective Facebook pages, covering the project entitled “WE ARE OCEAN Jakarta-Venice-Stockholm: Walking, connecting, healing”, curated by ARTPORT_making waves and supported by the Asia-Europe Foundation - ASEF.

By connecting the coastal cities of Jakarta, Venice and Stockholm (located in different global regions, but sharing similar ecological and social problems), the project seeks to involve the public through walks, discussions and videos dealing with the protection of the coastlines and their inhabitants, reinforcing collective action, and bringing together citizens, artists, museum staff, local activists, politicians, scientists, school children, NGOs, educators and anyone else who might be interested.

The session, moderated by Anne-Marie Melster, will be attended by artists Tita Salina and Irwan Ahmett (Jakarta), Barena Bianca (Venice), Åsa Andersson and Carl Michael von Hausswolff (Stockholm).
