Edu Day is back, the event that links the schools and cultural institutions of the Veneto region: an informative day that aims to put the cultural realities of the area in direct contact with schools. Museums represent a cultural meeting place; a treasure trove containing the past and the future, tradition and innovation, and a means of promoting multidisciplinary learning.

The initiative, in its fifth edition, was conceived by a network of over 20 cultural institutions operating in the Veneto with the aim of providing a service to the world of education.

It offers two days dedicated to connecting the museums and cultural institutions of the region with teachers working in kindergartens, elementary schools, middle schools and high schools, who on this occasion will be given access to an overview of the educational and didactic programs offered by museums, exhibition centers, libraries, theaters, and other foundations in the region.

The initiative involves some of the most important cultural institutions in the area, testifying to the desire to create a network and to build an ever better teaching method: Artsystem for the STANZE DEL VETRO, Casa dei Tre Oci, the Peggy Guggenheim Collection, the Municipality of Venice - Cultural Sector, DAR - Dainese Archivio, Veneto Regional Museum Directorate - DRMV, Fablab Venezia - Educational, the Venice Civic Museums Foundation - MUVE, Querini Stampalia Onlus Foundation, Gallerie d'Italia - Palazzo Leoni Montanari, CoopCulture for the Treviso Civic Museums, Villa Foscarini Rossi Shoe Museum, the Jewish Museum of Venice, Antonio Canova Gypsotheca Museum, Ocean Space, Palazzetto Bru Zane - Centre de musique romantique française, M9Education, Palazzo Grassi-Punta della Dogana, the Palladio Museum, the Ca 'Foscari Venice University Science Gallery, Staff of the L’Arte di Barchetta Blu, Teatro Stabile del Veneto.

The 2021 edition will also see the launch of MEduSe, a portal for all the educational and didactic offerings proposed by the cultural realities of the Veneto, which will be regularly updated. The purpose of MEduSe is to provide a useful service for teachers interested in the educational and cultural offerings within the region.
